The connection between land and vineyard is the first step to giving a wine its own character. Protecting the vineyard and the land on which it rests is our duty.

TO THE CELLAR

If the bunches have everything they need to ripen on the plant, in the cellar they find the space to evolve their maximum personality, thanks to special processes and time.

CARE AND LOVE

From the very first work in the vineyard, we wisely guide the life cycle of the vine. This allows us to follow each stage of ripening step by step, facilitating fruit growth, preserving the health of the plant and obtaining the full flavour of each bunch.

New year, new shapes. It is precisely from the pruning carried out in the first months of the year that the vine takes on a new physiognomy. Removing unnecessary branches will give the fruit space to freely ripen, acquiring all the nourishment to improve its quality.

Meticulous work in which we lighten the plant, removing the sterile herbaceous shoots. This green pruning guarantees our plants targeted and complete care that determines the quality of our products.

This particular practice is performed by hand, as the direct contact with our vines lets us evaluate, with extreme precision, which buds to remove to give others a perfect inflow of air and light in order to grow to perfection.

The “less is more” rule also applies in agriculture. This is why sometimes removing is best, and it is precisely with this second green pruning that we re-establish the balance between a production of quantity and one of quality.

Depriving the plant of some of its vegetative parts and some bunches allows us to improve the ripening process of the remaining parts and refine the quality of the wines we are going to bring to life.

Nature gives us wonderful fruit freely and naturally, and over the years we have learned to work to create equally extraordinary products, as we have done with our wines.

It is equally our duty to observe the natural growth of the fruit and the vegetation of our vineyards to help them as best as possible, so that the favourable conditions to preserve the health of the plant thanks to these practices are maintained.

There is always endless work in the vineyard, and this cycle of protecting the health of the vine is essential to allow it to continue along its path towards fruit ripening most efficiently and optimally.

The green pruning of the vine integrates and completes the work of the winter pruning. This pruning is carried out during the veraison phase to increase the state of well-being of the crop.

The moment when the fruit is ripe, the moment when it’s time to harvest what has grown from months of work, both ours and the vine. We view the harvest as a moment of celebration, representing the wine to come.

Our harvest tells of the old traditions, a moment of union that gives us the privilege of touching those bunches that will become wine, intimate moments shared with nature and our beloved vines.

Not only do we reap the greatest satisfaction from the vineyards, but it is above all from the richness of the land that we can be proud of our wines. It takes love and passion to make a land fertile.

    ORGANIC VINEYARDS

    GREEN MANURE

    We take care of our organic vineyards, respecting their natural cycles and in an eco-sustainable manner. Biodiversity is the true wealth of our land, and it is thanks to this balance and the reciprocal relationships of these plant species that we are able to obtain genuine products. We use the ancient green manure technique to enrich the soil of our land, an effective and natural method to amplify the fertility of the vineyard.
